The opening of the “Claresan“, art exhibition in Ennis was welcome by a large crowd on Saturday. There were a varied selection of original and print paintings on view. The theme of the exhibition was Clare and what the County offers in both heritage and beauty. The large original watercolours were painted “En plein air” in Mooghaun which is located behind Dromoland Castle. The Paintings use a glaze method of overlapping thin translucence layers to create depth and perspective.
