I love the medium of oil, it is the smell, the fluidity the layering that gives the richness to the painting. Each layer fuses and gives the colour vibrancy that is unique among the oil painting medium. It is equally fantastic as a transparent, opaque and translucent medium that allows me lots of opportunities to paint the country we live in.
